Happy Anniversary6/19/10 on June 16th, my girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 1/2 year anniversary. As a gift, I wrote a little silly yet truthful poem for her. A few days later, I realized that the words went pretty well as lyrics to a strumming I had previously developed. That same night, I sat down and recorded this song. The main riff was planned, but the rest of the solo was all improvised. I still feel like it goes a little too long, but my friends disagree, so I left it as is. Hey! It's a happy song! |
